Port style wine made from pomegranates that have reached maximum ripeness. The wine’s fermentation is stopped early to preserve the pomegranate’s natural sweetness. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, under the hot sun in the galillee. The hot days and cool nights of the Galilee climate strike the right temperature balance inside the barrels. The wine has pomegranate flavors and bouquet, as well as hints of chocolate, vanilla and berries, imparted by the barrel. Pairs well with first courses and all hard cheeses, as well as for dessert.
