Limited edition pomegranate cider in honor of the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel.
Port-style brew made of 100% Pomegranates began its way a decade ago. Pomegranates were carefully chosen from the finest parts of the winery, after they reached maximum phenolic ripening. The fermentation of the cider was stopped early in order to preserve the natural sweetness of the fruit.
The old wine was carefully selected and was aging for a period of 10 years in carefully selected French oak barrels from a very unique area in France, and was placed under the sky of Galilee in a pyramidal statute. During this long period of obsolescence, about 60% of the wine evaporated, giving it a delicate juxtaposition, balance, and complexity.
The wine is characterized by aromas of pomegranate fruits, along with dark chocolate flavors, black pepper and tobacco leaves.
It is recommended to serve alongside appetizers, hard cheeses, as a dessert and aperitifs.
